| PSC rules NYRI application complete |
|
ALBANY – The state Public Service Commission Wednesday officially deemed complete the Article VII application submitted by New York Regional Interconnect Inc. to build a 190 mile power line from Oneida County to Orange County. The next step will be a number of reviews of the company’s plans, said NYRI President Chris Thompson. “Once they deem us complete or compliant, an administrative law judge sets up a hearing to set forth a schedule for the Article VII process. The evidentiary hearings are all scheduled. He goes ahead and sets a schedule for the public hearings and we get started with the real process,” he said. “We’re anxious to get going.” NYRI submitted its original Article VII application in May 2006 and a supplemental filing in February. NYRI submitted additional project details and documentation to the PSC since that time.
