Man charged with failing to register address as sex offender

WALLKILL - The Town of Wallkill Police Department arrested and charged Antonio Rodriguez, 35, with failing to register a change of address as a convicted sex offender.

Rodriguez was arrested after an investigation by the town police who learned that Rodriguez no longer resided at his listed location in the town.

The investigation determined that Rodriguez moved from the town of Wallkill to an Ulster County location.

Rodriguez was charged with a felony and arraigned in local court by Judge Bonnie Kram. He was released on an appearance ticket with a return court date.

Rodriguez's status as a level 2 sex offender stems from arrest and conviction in the City of Newburgh in 1994.
