| Two Kingston residents nabbed in crack bust |

KINGSTON – The Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team (URGENT) reports the arrest of two persons following an investigation into crack cocaine sales. Amber Jones, 20, of 120 Cedar Street and Michica Hawkins, 16, of 40 Prince Street, were taken into custody, after Hawkins conducted a crack transaction at Liberty and Furnace Streets in midtown. Hawkins was arrested as she returned to a vehicle operated by Jones. Hawkins faces felony charges with third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. She is being held pending arraignment. Jones was given an appearance ticket on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and criminal facilitation. |
