MONTICELLO – Police in the Village of Monticello have arrested a Hancock, NY man who was wanted as a fugitive from justice. David White was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree.

Police stopped White at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday on West Broadway for failing to signal a turn.

A driver’s license check showed his license had been suspended for failure to pay child support.

He was also wanted by Pennsylvania State Police at Swiftwater on a felony warrant for heroin possession dating to February 26, 2007.

White was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending further court action.
